BIO:

John has 52 years of aviation experience that encompasses membership in Civil Air Patrol and 24 years Air Force military service. Starting as a Cadet in Civil Air Patrol through attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel as a Senior Member. He served twenty four years in the Air Force as a fighter aircraft mechanic. He has been a flight instructor for thirty five years. As a member at several aero clubs that include Spangdahlem AB GE, Moody AFB GA, Ramstein AB GE, and Osan AB KR, he held positions on the Board of Governors, flight instructor, mechanic, and Safety Officer. John retired from the Air Force in 1996. Since then he has either been employed in the local area mostly as an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic and/or flight instructor. He also worked with an organization for several personal enriching years that provided services to adults with physical and developmental disabilities.
